of Blues, Rhythm & Blues, Good Rocking Bar Room Blues and Rock.
Eclectic in their selection of tracks the ‘FSP’ deliver a stomping set of good time music guaranteed to infect audiences with a solid backbeat, stinging guitar solos and funky swagger that will set them dancing. The sets have been carefully selected and arranged to showcase all that’s best about blues music from the 50s to the present day. Texas bite, Chicago Suave, Share Crop Stomp and Memphis Funk all feature in a heady mix that bring the Delta surely to the Thames and Essex. Hailing mostly from Southend on Sea, The Amazing FSP have their share of heritage and experience within the band. Some have known each other for years and some are newer to the fold, some gigged alongside Hendrix and Cream.. All share a love of this music that makes you smile and wanna shake that thing. Bands like this come along every so often, wanting to play for the joy of the experience shared between the crowd, the band and the venue. A few pints and a few well earned shekels at the end of the night make it a much more pleasant outing. |
